Scope and contribuition.

Free That Fish is a maze game for mobile platforms, that was present in several events like PGCHelsinki, PG Connects London, Comic Con Portugal and was nominated for The Big Indie Pitch award. The main goal was to set the poor fish free when he got trapped in a box filled with aquariums, on board of a fishing boat. The quest becomes increasingly complex and dangerous as there are new characters and obstacles in it's way.

When I was invited to join this project, a substantial portion of the user and gaming experience had already been outlined, and a functional prototype was in place. My role primarily revolved around refining and enhancing the user experience. This encompassed the critical steps of redefining the aesthetics, visual appeal, and overall look and feel of the UI, ensuring that it resonated with our intended user base.

In addition to this creative aspect, I closely monitored the development phase to guarantee that the existing UX design vision remained intact throughout the implementation process. This hands-on oversight allowed for timely adjustments and alignment with our established user-centric principles.

Furthermore, I conducted thorough quality testing to identify and address any lingering usability issues or glitches, thereby ensuring that the final product not only met but exceeded the high standards we had set. My involvement, even in a project with a pre-existing framework, has been integral in delivering a polished and user-friendly gaming experience.
